Alicia Cullen Named Partner at Calfo Eakes LLP

by Calfo Eakes

Calfo Eakes LLP is pleased to announce that Alicia Cullen has been elected to the partnership as of January 1, 2020.  “We are thrilled for Alicia to join us as a partner – she’s an outstanding lawyer with diverse skills who has grown our firm’s expertise, especially relating to sensitive internal investigations,” said Patty Eakes, the firm’s Managing Partner.  Alicia was formerly Counsel at the firm.

Alicia’s practice focuses on assisting governmental entities and private companies to conduct investigations into a variety of internal matters, including theft, embezzlement, or other malfeasance, and into allegations of retaliation, harassment, discrimination, conflicts of interest, and improper employment practices, both in the United States and abroad.  She has handled internal investigations on behalf of law enforcement, county governments, and large private sector companies.  Alicia’s practice also includes the defense of False Claims Act cases, employment claims, and white collar criminal matters.

Prior to joining Calfo Eakes & Ostrovsky, Alicia clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in the chambers of the Honorable Roger J. Minor.  In addition, Alicia was an associate in private practice at Covington & Burling and at Sullivan & Cromwell, both in New York City.  She graduated summa cum laude from New York Law School, where she served as a Notes Editor on the Law Review.  She earned her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the University of Richmond.

Calfo Eakes LLP is a Seattle-based litigation boutique specializing in complex commercial and civil litigation, False Claims Act cases, consumer protection litigation, government enforcement matters, corporate and public internal investigations, employment litigation, and white collar criminal defense.
